From Convento - Ronco Canavese, we follow Pathway 611/A through a lovely woodland arriving at the baite Stavalle 889 m and Rastut. We cross the river where possible. From here, we continue left along the old water conduct that led to Ingria for around 20 metres, we cross the meadow and arrive at the second section of the conduct. At the beginning, on the left, are some steps and after a short stretch in the wood we arrive nearby to the village Villanova. Continuing right (towards Pont Canavese) along the asphalted road for 300 metres and near the bar-restaurant, we access the bridge to the left (directions for Tiglietto etc.), cross it and after a steep climb we arrive at Crotto. (1 hour 15 minutes from Masonaie) We pass through the village and we take again the asphalted road, crossing the bridge over the river and continuing for a stretch until we reach a dirt track (constructed in 2012) that arrives at Mombianco (church with a fresco of the Holy Shroud). Having passed through Mombianco we find the abandoned houses in a dire state of ruin in Salsa 992 m, then Alberetto 971 m, the Sanctuary of Santa Libera and Betassa 925 m, which is joined by a rut (Codebiollo Valley). At the beginning of the rut just outside Betassa near a large chestnut tree, on the right, a path winds away (look out for the signs) and leads to Bech where you can find the Bivouac built by Ingria Council providing overnight accommodation.
