Bike tour tra due mostre: dalla materia all’ambiente

To mark Earthrise 26 and Torino Design City, a cycle ride linking two exhibitions exploring the relationship between design, materials and the environment. We set off from the Circolo del Design with a visit to ‘From The Ground’, the fourth edition of Earthrise. Through clay – an ancient and transformative material – the exhibition explores the relationship between resources, the local area, extraction and form. Clay is found, extracted and transformed, becoming a field of interplay between technique, ways of living, communities and new forms of life. From here, we’ll cycle together to the MAcA – Museo A come Ambiente, near Parco Dora, to visit EcoRadar. The exhibition, curated by the Polytechnic University of Turin, brings together over 30 products, services and processes developed by Piedmontese companies committed to the ecological transition, covering reduction, recycling, reuse, natural materials and biocomposites. • 9.45 am: meet at the Circolo del Design • 10.00–10.30 am: guided tour of ‘From the Ground’ • 10.30 am: start of the cycle tour • 12.00 pm: arrival at MAcA – Museo A come Ambiente • 12.00–12.30 pm: guided tour of EcoRadar Essential kit: bicycle (any type), comfortable clothing, helmet.
