Il tempo del bramito

A guided nature walk dedicated to observing and learning about stags in the rutting season. The bellow is the call that male stags make in autumn to attract females and assert their dominance over other rivals: a roar-like sound that echoes through the woods in a magical atmosphere. The day will be entirely devoted to discovering these animals, with plenty of anecdotes and interesting facts. Optical equipment (binoculars and a spotting scope) will be available to participants so they can observe the wildlife from a safe and respectful distance. This is a moderately difficult hike with a 600-metre ascent: you must be used to walking on mountain trails, as the return journey will take place in the dark using torches; a packed dinner will be provided. In the event of bad weather, the outing may be modified or cancelled.
