Travelling downhill from the bivouac, continue along the route of the Alta Via Canavesana, this stretch of which coincides with the Giro Parco Gran Paradiso, and you’ll find yourself near Alpe Breuil and its plateau. Further ahead, leave on the right the mule track, which crosses Colle Sià and Cà Bianca and descends to Ceresole Reale, continuing towards the left along the flat path that leads to the Casa di Caccia (Hunting Lodge) del Gran Piano 2222 m. From here, leave the A.V.C. and walk to the edge of the plateau, heading south, to follow the Royal Hunting Road which, with numerous hairpin bends and a constant slope, descends to Noasca. At an altitude of 1900 m, where the road meets Pathway 552, which descends to Varda-Balmarossa, continue left, following the clearly-marked path that descends into the reforestation (rocks have a tendency to collapse along this stretch of path so, in case of bad weather, it is best to descend directly to Varda along the 552). At an altitude of 1650 m, you’ll come to path 548, which leads to Refuge Noaschetta, which you leave on the left, continuing the descent on the Royal Hunting Road to the Provincial road, just above the town of Noasca, where there are accommodation facilities.
